Welcome to House of Makrana. These Terms apply to your use of https://houseofmakrana.com and to purchases made through our online store. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. About us

2. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract.

3. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can on each product page, including images, dimensions and materials. Please review them before ordering.

4. Natural marble and handmade products

Marble is a natural material, so shade, veining and texture vary from piece to piece. Hand-painted products can have small differences in detailing. Photos may look slightly different on different screens. These variations are not defects. They do not excuse damage, defects, or a product that is materially different from its description.

5. Care

  • Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, and keep the product dry after cleaning.
  • Avoid abrasive scrubbers, harsh chemical cleaners and acidic liquids such as lemon juice or vinegar.
  • Do not drop the product or strike it against hard surfaces.
  • Handle small decorative and pooja items carefully.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes, as shown at checkout. Payment options may include Shopify Payments, UPI and Cash on Delivery, depending on availability. If there is an obvious pricing or typing error, we may correct it and ask you to confirm, or cancel the order and refund you in full.

7. Orders

An order is confirmed when you receive our order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, the delivery address is not serviceable, or there is an error in the price or description. In that case we refund any amount you paid in full.

8. Shipping, cancellation, returns and refunds

These are explained in our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds policy (which includes cancellation) published on this website. They form part of these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

The House of Makrana name, photographs, product descriptions, designs and other content on this website belong to us. Please do not copy or use them without our written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for the affected product. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions or government orders. We will tell you and offer a refund if the delay is long.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms follow the laws of India. Please first contact our Grievance Officer using the details below so that we can try to resolve your concern. If it is not resolved, the courts at Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh will have jurisdiction, without affecting your right as a consumer to approach the Consumer Commission or the National Consumer Helpline (1915).

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by publishing a new version on this page. The version in force on the date of your order applies to that order.
