What are House of Makrana products made from?
Every piece — from our Ganesh Ji idols to our Chakla & Belan sets — is crafted from Pure Makrana Marble, sourced from the historic marble quarries of Makrana, Rajasthan.

Is the hand-painting done manually?
Yes. Each hand-painted piece is finished by skilled artisans, so subtle variations in stroke and detail are part of the handmade character of the product, not a flaw.

Will my product look exactly like the photos?
Since these are natural marble products with hand-painted finishing, minor variations in veining, tone, or paintwork may appear between individual pieces. This is normal for handcrafted marble items and does not affect quality.

Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my marble product?
Wipe gently with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, acidic liquids (like lemon or vinegar), and abrasive scrubbers, as these can dull the marble's natural finish.

Can I use the Chakla & Belan set for daily cooking?
Yes, our marble Chakla & Belan set is designed for regular kitchen use. Clean it with a damp cloth after each use and avoid soaking it in water for extended periods.

Will the hand-painted design fade over time?
With gentle handling and cleaning as advised above, the hand-painted detailing is designed to stay vibrant for a long time. Avoid direct prolonged sunlight and rough handling to preserve the finish.

How is my order packaged?
Given the weight and fragility of marble, every order is carefully packed with protective cushioning to minimize the risk of damage in transit.

What if my item arrives damaged?
Please reach out to us with photos of the damaged item and packaging as soon as it arrives, so we can assist with a replacement or resolution.

Do you ship pan-India?
